A Fresh Face & A Slow Pace

I'm still working out the kinks of my new blog template that I purchased on Etsy from a great shop, bellaluluink! If you're looking for a cute new template, check them out! I was ready for a fresh face and brighter colors for Spring/Summer.
In the meantime...Over the weekend I got Laila dressed in her Easter outfit in an attempt to take some pics at the tulip fields. Once we got there, we realized it wasn't going to be as easy as we thought and we need to come equipped with a kid sized chair, as well as shoes that we don't mind getting muddy. Maybe once the weather dries things up a bit, we will give it another go. We did however, take some pics of her in her dress that I just had to share :)

This rocking chair is significant because this was my grandfather's chair when he was a baby, and it's over 100 years old!
Chris and I actually got a baby free dinner out on Sunday night which was SO nice. We dropped Laila off at my parent's house and the lighting is just so pretty with the windows, I had to snap a few pics :)

The weather was unusually warm and beautiful today in the Pacific NW - 63 degrees and sunny! Woop Woop! We took full advantage and went to one of our favorite parks to enjoy the sun and get out of the house! Smoothies in hand, we spread out a blanket by the water and just enjoyed being outside. It was heaven. There were so many people there! Laila loved watching all the kids play...and especially loved all the dogs that walked by.
Our attempt at a family selfie! haha
It's a slow pace these days at the Raymor house, which is ok because things are going to just get busier as the weather gets nicer. When things slow down like this, I find myself frantically looking for projects, because I love to be busy. We are currently in the process of picking out new paint colors for our house.......we re-painted the interior of our entire house just 2 years ago...... I think I'm watching too much HGTV.
