Camden Christopher's Birth Day

Camden Christopher Raymor arrived on our 9 year wedding anniversary...December 10th, 2014 at 4:49 PM weighing 7 lbs, 11 oz and measures 20 inches long. We are SO in love with our little guy :)

The way it all happened was so surreal! As you know if you follow along, I had a repeat C-section scheduled for Dec 23rd, so I never really believed I would have him sooner than that. On the 9th I just didn't feel good. I was SUPER emotional, kind of nauseas, low back cramping that went into the tops of my thighs, and stomach cramps that I attributed to feeling like I was going to throw up. As the evening progressed my symptoms fell into a pattern of about every 10-12 minutes so I thought maybe this is labor? I never even experienced one contraction with Laila because she was a scheduled C-section as well so I had no idea. Just as we were about to head to labor and delivery to check it out at around 10:30 PM my symptoms lessened and sort of went away. I had my 37 week check the next morning so I figured I could hold out until then to figure out what was going on.

As soon as my doctor walked into the room and saw my belly she said, "WOW you look low! SO different!" She measured my belly (which I had been measuring a couple of weeks ahead all along) and the baby had dropped so far into the pelvis I was barely measuring at 35 weeks! Also I had dilated to 2 cm and was 75% effaced. She said I was in the early stages of labor and it was "go time" and we were going to have him that day!!!! I couldn't believe it!

I got home, told Chris the news, called my parents and one of my longest bestest friends, Melissa who all headed up from Anacortes to be at the hospital and take care of Laila.
Leaving for the hospital! Our last pic as a family of 3.
We got to the hospital, got all checked in, changed into a gown, got my IV started and answered about a million questions. Turns out I was in labor, having contractions every 4-6 minutes! The anesthesiologist came in (who was amazing and so comforting about doing everything he could to make sure we didn't have a repeat of my last spinal block which can be found HERE.) The time finally came, and I was taken back into the OR while poor Chris had to wait in the hall while they got me up on the table, and I got my spinal injection which is fairly painless for anyone who has one coming up. The worst part is the stinging from the lidocaine they use to numb the area. They laid me down, put in my catheter, and prepped my belly.  Once that was all done and the surgery was about to start, they let Chris finally came to my side after what seemed like a million years!

I felt really calm and good during the surgery. Chris held my hand and we talked about how amazing it was that here we were again, just 16 months after Laila was born, having our second...a BOY, when we never thought we'd even have one baby. We are SO blessed.

Before we knew it, I was told I would feel a ton of pressure in my ribs which would make it hard to breathe for a couple of seconds (which it sure did!) and my doctor held up our little boy who was pink as can be and crying right off the bat! Best sound in the world! I absolutely lost it and burst into tears! I couldn't believe he was finally here, completely healthy and I didn't have any kind of complications. We had a son, and Laila had a little brother.

Chris went over to watch them clean up Camden, weigh, and measure him, and then he brought our son over to me to meet :)

Soon after, Chris and Camden were taken to recovery while they finished stitching me up, and I was moved there shortly after for a few hours. I felt really good in recovery except I was so incredibly cold and was super dizzy. They thought it was from all the medication they gave me during the surgery. It passed after a few hours but delayed our stay in recovery for a few hours.
Once we got back to our room, we got to bring back our families and enjoy snuggling the new little man in our lives.
My Dad, Doug
My Mom, Kathy
Chris's Mom, Debbie
Chris's Brother, Brian
My Brother, Joey and his girlfriend Stefani
Chris's step mom, Diann
Chris's Dad, Ray
Our stay at the hospital was 4 nights...I had some issues with pain control and nausea that started the night after the surgery which was NOT fun, but it was really nice to have that time to be so well taken care of. Our nurses were the best and made our stay there actually kind of enjoyable!
So welcome to the world, Camden! We love you so much :)

A Very Overdue Update

Sorry I've been sooooo behind on my updates! I usually take time to blog at night after Laila has gone to bed but I have been so incredibly tired by then I just can't find the energy. So here's the update!
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and I ate entirely too much! I do have to say that being pregnant around the holidays rocks and I had to refrain from saying how thankful I am for maternity pants while sitting around the dinner table. Laila absolutely loved her Thanksgiving dinner and had turkey, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, and green beans. She sat in her high chair in just her diaper because I thought it was going to be a mess because I just let her have at it, but she ate so carefully and everything pretty much ended up in her mouth! She even shared pumpkin pie and vanilla ice cream with me for dessert! Holidays are so fun this year!
My brother's girlfriend Stefani took some pictures of us for our Christmas card that's being put in the mail tomorrow :) I found this maternity shirt that's just perfect...It says "Tis the Season to be Pregnant". It sure is!
Sorry for the blurry pic, but I had to post a pic of my little poser! Merry and Bright describes her just perfectly! Laila Bug is 16 months old TODAY and we have some HUGE NEWS! We finally have a walker!!!!! Woo Hoo! She's been walking now for a couple of weeks, but the last couple of days she's made huge progress and surprised me this morning when she just came strolling into the kitchen saying, "Mama! Mama!" She's turning into a little girl so quickly! I think her lack of hair, and until a couple of weeks ago lack of mobility had me fooled into thinking she was still my little baby! She is the sweetest, goofiest, silliest little girl I know, and my heart just about bursts when I think of how good of a big sissy she will be in just 2-1/2 weeks!

On Saturday we braved the extremely cold temperatures (and by that I mean it was 23 degrees and a wind chill in the single digits)  to get our Christmas tree with my brother and his girlfriend out at Stoney Ridge where we got our pumpkins this year! So the tree is up and decorated complete with his and her booties courtesy of my parents and of course we kept the tradition of cutting off the bottom of our tree and writing on it :)

Laila loves the tree. We put all of our soft non breakable ornaments where she could reach them and she spends all kind of time taking them off and trying to put them back on. We even found her lovey and a couple of paci's in the tree...I guess she wanted to add her own flair :)

As far as Mr. Camden is concerned, I had a doctors appointment today and he's still sideways with his head in my right hip and his knees/legs in my left ribs. I guess you could say I'm wearing him like a sash these days! He's a busy strong little guy and I can't wait to meet him...which could be sooner than later! I am already 1 CM dilated and 70% effaced! I don't know why, but the 16th has been stuck in my head the whole pregnancy...so maybe he will come a little early.

How Far Along: 36 Weeks, 2 Days
Weight Gain: 35 lbs
Gender: BOY
Craving: Ok this is totally bizarre but the only thing I'm craving these days and absolutely cannot get enough of is ice chips. Our freezer doesn't have an ice maker so I am literally breaking up ice cubes and eating them with a spoon. Something about the cold and the crunch...I don't know. Weird. Oh, and I may have brownies baking in the oven right now...at 10pm ;)
Maternity Clothes: Are getting limited. Growing out of maternity clothes is getting a little old to say the least...
Getting Our Lives Ready: Just got a lot more urgent! I haven't even packed my hospital bag and we haven't installed the car seat yet...or decided even if we are going to get a new one! The new monitor sits in the box and Camden's room is filled with empty Christmas decoration boxes and laundry that needs folding...Better get on it since he could come any day now!
Feeling: Stressed! We have a lot to get done in the next couple of weeks while still making sure Laila has an amazing Christmas season.

I'll try to blog a few more times before the big day, assuming it's going to be the 23rd as scheduled. If you don't already, you can follow me on Instagram (@amandajune888) because I'm a lot better at keeping that up to date, and we will post pics of our little guy and family of 4 there before I get a chance to blog about Camden's Birth Day.

It's coming up fast! Yikes!

34 Weeks

I had my 34 weeks appointment today and it couldn't have come any sooner! I have been so incredibly uncomfortable! Tons of rib pain, shortness of breath, and terrible pain in all the ligaments around my belly. SO different from when I was pregnant with Laila so I wanted to see what was up. Just as I suspected...Camden is laying completely SIDEWAYS and facing out! His head and bum pushing on my ribs and his knees, elbows and hands jabbing out! No wonder my belly moves like crazy with any kind of movement on his part! My belly is also measuring at 37 weeks, which is especially big because with a baby laying sideways like he is, technically I should be measuring small...So I may have a growth ultrasound in store in the next few weeks. It's looking like he's going to be a very big boy though :)

How Far Along: 34 weeks
Weight Gain: 34 lbs - I think I officially recovered from my stomach bug :) Gained 5 lbs in 2 weeks!
Gender: BOY
Cravings: I'm back on an ice water kick and I CANNOT wait to pour myself a nice big glass of red wine! Mmmmmm
Maternity Clothes: It's all about comfort these days! Yoga pants and leggings!
Looking Forward To: Kissing the puckered little lips I saw on the ultrasound today :)
Getting Our Lives Ready: I 'm convinced our neighbors probably think we've completely lost our minds. Our house is close to being all decked out for Christmas already! Post coming soon on that, but we have a ton of decorations out already including a giant light up snowman in the front yard! I'm done nesting in the house, so I've gotta nest somewhere right? Camden must come home to a winter wonderland if he's coming home on Christmas morning!
Feeling: Better knowing why I'm so incredibly uncomfortable. They said that there's still a chance he could move, but he's been in this position for a couple of weeks and he would need to roll over, and somehow move either head up or down. He's pretty cozy the way he is though. The doc said it doesn't necessarily mean we will do anything early...but if I go to 39 weeks I will be incredibly uncomfortable as he gets bigger and stronger. Wonderful...It's all good. Healthy baby and mama is all that matters. I got this...eek!

33 Weeks & 32nd Birthday Recap

Happy Friday tomorrow!!! Just a quick THANK YOU to everyone who follows along on my blog. I reached 10,000 page views on my birthday which was a really nice present! This is such a fun way to document these crazy days, and share the happenings at the Raymor house with family and friends! So Thank You Thank You Thank You!!!!
The weeks are flying by aren't they?! I celebrated my 32nd Birthday last weekend with my family and this little stinkeroo!
Look at all those teeth!
It was a very chill Birthday that included a couple of trips out to dinner at delicious restaurants and lots of yummy treats...which resulted in me feeling like this!
Picture courtesy of Pinterest and seriously made me LOL
All kidding aside, I had a great birthday and feel so blessed to have such amazing family and friends to celebrate with. One person I wasn't so thrilled with on my birthday was my dog! There's a running joke between my husband and I that I'm saving our rotten bananas to make banana bread. Chris always gets on me that I always buy bananas and never eat them, so I use it as my excuse. Even though the banana bread never magically appears. I have tried at least 5 times to make banana bread, and it NEVER turns out right. So when I had 3 super ripe bananas sitting on my counter, I decided to give it a try and make some! Chris and I laughed about it as it sat cooling on the counter as we left to go to dinner, because it was looking like maybe an edible batch! Well when we got home that night, Paisley didn't come to greet us like he usually does and wouldn't look us in the eye...a sure guilty dog. He had jumped up and gotten the ENTIRE loaf of banana bread off the counter and had himself a little feast! The one time it turns out...and the only person who got to enjoy it was the dog! He did seem to like it though ;)
My parents got me the new Clinique Sonic System Purifying Cleansing Brush and some products to go along with it. O.M.G. Best. Thing. EVER. I have only used maybe 6 times total and I kid you not, it has completely changed my skin for the better. I could tell a difference after two uses. It's amazing, and I will never be without one! I feel like my skin can breathe! Its awesome. If you have been thinking about getting one, it's totally worth the money!
It's been soooo cold here the last few days so we've been doing a lot of snuggling and playing inside!
But we did venture out today for a walk around the neighborhood. It felt so good to get out and get some fresh air. I am getting to the point though where all the Braxton hicks contractions make it hard to do a lot of walking...especially pushing a stroller and wrangling my 95lb over excited golden retriever, but its amazing what a little sunshine and fresh cold air can do :) Especially when your walking buddy is this dang cute!

I don't have a belly pic this time around...we will leave it to the gorilla pic to tell you how I'm feeling! A picture says a thousand words right?!

How Far Along: 33 Weeks
Weight Gain: 29 lbs
Gender: BOY!
Cravings: Banana Bread ;)
Maternity Clothes: I have officially sworn off jeans. Even maternity jeans. I wore them a couple of days ago and got so sick of pulling them up a thousand times because they slide down my belly that I was soooo cranky by the end of the day. The Grump Bump as my hubby calls it was making a major appearance. Bring on the leggings and yoga pants!
Looking Forward To: Thanksgiving dinner! haha kidding...well...not really!
Getting Our Lives Ready: We have almost everything checked off the to do list! Just need to do a little more Christmas shopping and get a few more baby items and we will be all set!
Feeling: Like I don't know whether I want the time to go fast until Dec 23rd because I'm excited...or go slow because it's going to be CRAZY! One day at a time.....

Also feeling like I need to post more often so I don't have these crazy long posts! Thanks for reading along with my journey :)

32 Weeks & A Vent

I am officially 8 months pregnant, and with that...I am officially freaking out! How is it even possible that I will have another baby...NEXT MONTH?!

How Far Along: 32 Weeks
Weight Gain: 29 lbs. I actually lost two pounds since my 30 week appointment. Definitely going to chalk that up to being so incredibly sick I ended up in the hospital a little over a week ago. And to make matters worse, I'm sick again with a cold and major sore throat making my appetite nearly non-existent.
Gender: BOY
Cravings: I wish I was having cravings and feeling better! All I'm craving these days is a really good night sleep.
Maternity Clothes: Two words...Over Them.
Looking Forward To: Kicking this cold and hopefully getting some energy back! Also it's my Birthday on Monday so hopefully I'll be feeling better by then!
Getting Our Lives Ready: We started doing some online Christmas shopping! We also scheduled the rest of our OB appointments (only 4 left!) and turned in our paperwork to the hospital! It's all coming down to the wire and happening so fast! Am I ready for this?!?!
Feeling: Anxious and Excited

Also, I'm going to vent a little and title my next little story as "Oh the Things People Say..."
I was feeling pretty down on myself a couple of days ago because I am literally growing out of my maternity clothes. I'm past that point of feeling kind of cute pregnant, and now I just feel humongous uncomfortable slob kabob pregnant. So Chris, Laila and I went to the mall so I could do a little shopping and get a few things to get me through the rest of my pregnancy. Chris was so sweet and took Laila to stroll around the mall so I could have some solo time to try on some clothes. But first I headed into Bath and Body Works to check out the new Winter candles and festive soaps because I'm getting pretty sick of pumpkin everything. Well I walk in and was checking out the Christmas table and a girl who works there and is their "greeter" comes up to me, does a huge over exaggerated double take at my belly and literally yells (yes yells), "WHOA!!! WHOA!!!!! YOU MUST BE DUE ANY DAY!" Not a friendly tone like, "Wow look at your cute belly!"...but a Holy SHIT are you going into labor RIGHT NOW?!" kind of tone. She called me out in front of an entire store and at least 5 other shoppers turned around to stare at me. I felt like I was in a bad dream and I literally froze. Being overly sensitive and extremely hormonal right now anyways, I could've burst into tears right then and there in front of everyone. But I didn't. I muttered, my face probably beet red, "I actually have about 7 weeks to go..." and just turned around and walked out. Of course after the fact I can think of about a hundred good come backs or things I should've said and didn't. But I'm not really like that anyways. Lets just say trying to find some semi-cute things to wear after that little comment was not fun. I know she wasn't trying to be mean, or embarrass me, but its little comments like that that feel soooo awful when you're pregnant. And let me tell ya, I'm no stranger to rude comments...especially dealing with Infertility and IVF when those thoughtless, rude, insensitive comments sting the worst. But come on. Chris was ready to march back in there when he saw how hurt my fragile feelings were, but we didn't. Also I cannot tell you how many times people have asked if I "planned" to have two so close together. I literally had a total complete stranger ask me if my pregnancy was an accident. Really??? Who says stuff like that? Anyways, enough venting and thanks for listening :) Gonna make like Taylor and Shake It OFF!
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Laila 15 Months

My big girl is 15 months old!!! She had a doctor's appointment today, so I thought a Laila update was in order, especially since her little world is about to be rocked next month with the arrival of her little brother.

Laila These Days

Height: 34 inches - 99%
Weight: 26 lbs - 86%
Clothing Size: 2T-3T tops. 18 month - 2T bottoms. And size 5 shoes!
Favorite Foods: This girls eats anything and everything! The only food we have found that she doesn't like is some marinara sauces. But recent favorites include chicken, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, mac n cheese, bananas, peas, green beans (especially if they are cold), any kind of pasta, cheese, cheerios, watermelon, cantaloupe, toast, and oatmeal.
Milestones: Laila is finally saying Mama!!! She says it so funny, and only when she wants to get a reaction out of me (because I practically jump for joy every time she says it!) She pronounces it mmmmmmmmmmmaaa mmmmmmmmmmmmaaa! Regardless, it's music to my ears! She also says please (peeeese), up, down, ball (baaaaa), yes, paci (ssssss), I done, Dada, bath, duck, blanket (bla bla), and happy (which is probably my favorite, and she says it so good!). Granted, we call her talking "speaking Laila" because to the average listener, it sounds like a lot of toddler babble - possibly in another language entirely :)
Laila is also cruising the furniture, pulling herself up on everything, dancing, climbing the stairs - which gives me a heart attack, and walking with her walker or holding onto our fingers. She can point to her nose, hair, eyes, teeth, tummy, toes, ears, and sticks out her tongue when you ask her where her tongue is...she's obviously gifted haha ;)
She makes the noise of a dog, kitty, monkey, and duck :) Blows kisses, and gives the biggest, wettest, sloppiest kisses possible right smack on the lips, accompanied by a big "mmmmuaaaahhhh". It's the best :)
Favorite Toys: Baby stroller, lady bug rocker, her Doc McStuffins toy set, anything that stacks or fits together, anything that lights up or makes noise, stuffed animals, and most of all...blankets and pillows. My girls loves to be cozy. Give her a soft blanket or a colorful pillow and she's good to go for the entire afternoon fake sleeping and snoring, or making her put the blanket over our heads like a tent approximately 8,000 times.
Favorite Activities: Torturing Playing with the dog. Laila and Paisley are best buds. She is constantly chasing him around, shoving toys in his mouth, tries to feed him her sippy cup while saying "num num num", sticking her entire hand in his mouth laughing hysterically trying to grab his tongue, sitting on him, climbing him, brushing him (which is more like smacking him in the head with a hair brush), tickling his toes while saying "ticky ticky ticky", sticking her fingers up his nose because it makes him sneeze, and most recently she has started "reading" to him. She will take a book over to him, open up to a page, and grab his paw and make him touch the page because that's what her and I do with her touch and feel books. This melts my heart every time. And I have to say, Paisley loves every minute of it. He's so gentle, and sweet with her with patience for days. He actually pouts the entire time she's napping or when she goes to bed, and can hardly contain himself when she gets up, or when we get home from running errands he gets so excited. He's just the best doggy and we love him so much :)

I still can't believe our Laila bug is 15 months and will already be a big sister next month! She is so loving, sweet, and nurturing already but we are really making sure to enjoy these last few weeks of being a family of 3 :)

Halloween Recap

We had the best Halloween :) Laila ended up loving her Zebra costume after I cut off the hood so she could wear it like a hat! I was so happy because the thought of two costumes going to waste was killing me! We don't get many trick or treaters in our neighborhood so we headed down to Anacortes to my parent's neighborhood because they always get well over 100 kids, and I knew Laila would love seeing everyone all dressed up!

Laila with my parents :)
After dinner and tons of playing and entertaining on Laila's part, we bundled up and headed out to do a little trick or treating of our own with my brother Joey and his girlfriend Stefani!
We had so much fun, and Laila enjoyed every minute of it just like we knew she would :) Can you believe this time next year Laila will be 2 and I'll have a 10 month old?! Wow. Definitely need to do a family theme costume next year!

Today we just relaxed and hung out at home (while Laila tortured our poor dog).
And our little stinker figured out she can crawl up and sit/play on the fireplace mantle. Her dismount is funniest of all...head first like the little slug that she is! Gotta get this girl walking!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween!

Pumpkin Carving!

Tonight we carved our pumpkin with our little pumpkin, and she absolutely loved the messy slime! I just had to share a few pics of her discovering pumpkin guts for the first time :)

I hope everyone is gearing up for a fun filled Halloween tomorrow! I know we are :)
Trick or Treat!

Paisley, Projects, & 31 Weeks

We are gearing up for Halloween over here! Tonight we are planning on carving our pumpkin, and doing some last minute costume shopping for myself and Laila. I have purchased two costumes for Laila, one being a kitten costume that is too small, and another a zebra costume that she HATES. So while I was waiting for her to get up for her nap, I at least dressed up our dog Paisley who's always willing to participate if it involves treats and pats :)
Yesterday we finished up some final projects in Camden's room, and hung his shelf, and pictures that I purchased from Etsy! It turned out okay, but I wish I would've gotten different frames. Maybe they will grow on me.

Chris also finally finished painting the kitchen bulkheads! They were a horrible navy blue faded color that we had been putting on repainting ever since we moved in because they are so high and hard to get to...but we finally did it and it makes such a huge difference! I wish I had a before picture...
As far as my 31 week update, there really isn't much to report. I am thankfully feeling so much better since my scare last weekend! I have a doctors appointment next week so I will do another official update then with my stats :) I'm going to be 8 months pregnant next week! How did that happen? Time is flying right on by!

A Trip to the Hospital

It's been a pretty awful last few days around here, that included an overnight stay at the hospital in the ER and Labor & Delivery.
I started having stomach pains on Thursday morning along with a little bit of nausea. So I called my doctor, because the pains were awfully sharp on one side, and I googled "pain in abdomen, 32 weeks pregnant" and let me tell ya...a pregnant girl should NEVER google symptoms. Anyways, they took my symptoms, thought I was fine, and basically said rest and hydrate blah blah. So I actually was feeling a little better by Thursday evening. Well overnight was an entirely different story. I'll skip the gory details but it involved a LOT of trips to the bathroom, including some of the most terrible vomiting I've ever experienced. This is totally too much TMI, but if you've ever thrown up with a giant belly before, you know what I mean...your stomach muscles are pretty much non existent and it freaking hurts. So after a long sleepless night, and a long day of being sick on Friday, hardly being able to keep anything down including water...Chris drove me and Laila to Anacortes to stay with my parents because he had to work all weekend, and I couldn't take care of myself...let alone a 14 month old!
Friday night was even worse, and at 1:30am it was time to head to the hospital. Again, I'll spare the gory details but I can honestly not remember a time where I've ever been so incredibly sick. So my mom (who is amazing by the way) took me to the hospital. They saw me waddle in with my belly, and heard the words "abdominal pain" and I was swooped over to labor and delivery to make sure the baby was ok, and to make sure I wasn't in preterm labor. That was the best part of the whole experience. I got to lay in a surprisingly comfortable bed and listen to Camden's beautiful heartbeat for well over an hour! Pure bliss :) He is super healthy and I wasn't having any contractions thank goodness, so I was taken back to the ER. After blood work, and some other tests, they discovered I have a terrible urinary tract infection! I was shocked because I didn't have any of those classic symptoms! But apparently its extremely rare to have symptoms if you're pregnant so there's no way I could've known. Also, I have an intestinal virus and was extremely dehydrated (I wasn't surprised) so I got a lot of medicine in my IV, a ton of IV fluids, some antibiotics, and was basically monitored overnight.
I have been steadily feeling better over the last couple of days, and am back home now. Being sick when you're pregnant sucks, but I am so grateful that Camden is ok, and I am ok as well! My mom and dad took very good care of me, and of course Laila was thrilled to spend all kinds of time at Nana and Grampa's house :) She was happy to entertain me while I recovered, and always makes everything better!

30 Weeks

I had my 30 week appointment today and we are officially into the single digit countdown!!! 9 weeks to go! How is that even possible?! The time has absolutely flown by and I was in total disbelief as I sat and filled out my hospital paperwork for the big day. I am so excited and anxious to meet Camden! One thing that came up at my appointment was the horrible experience I had with my spinal anesthesia during my C-section with Laila. Not to scare anyone, but the spinal was waaaaaay to high and I was numb up to my eyebrows, which caused me to not be able to lift my arms to hold my sweet baby girl for hours after delivery, but my mouth, eyes, and throat were completely numb as well which made it hard to see, speak and caused major anxiety because I couldn't feel myself breathing. I was in recovery for approximately 5 hours instead of the usual 1 hour. My doctor suggested I have an anesthesia consult in the next couple of weeks to discuss my options, because I would hate to have a repeat experience. Yikes. Other than that, Cam and I checked out just fine and everything is right on track. The big day will be Dec 23rd unless I go into labor or my water breaks sooner :) SO EXCITED!

How Far Along: 30 Weeks
Weight Gain: 31 lbs....time to lay off the sweets :( Even though my doctor assured me today that the number doesn't really matter, and kindly told me I was looking great...I know how hard it is to lose it afterward. Even if it's so much fun to gain it during ;) Food just tastes so good!
Gender: Boy!
Cravings: I have had a MAJOR craving lately for Olive Garden salad. Mmmmmm
Maternity Clothes: Even my maternity clothes are getting a little tight!
Looking Forward To: Having my anesthesia consult, hoping that it eases my mind.
Getting Our Live's Ready: We have gotten so much done already! Last on the list is some online shopping for a baby monitor, another pack n play, and some other little random stuff but we are feeling so ready and excited! I would love to have all of my Christmas shopping done by Dec 1st too so we can just enjoy the last few weeks of being a family of 3...but we will see how that plan goes...
Feeling: Happy and Peaceful

Camden's Nursery

That's right! We are naming our little boy Camden! I know I posted earlier that we were going to keep his name a secret because people can say the dumbest things when talking about naming a baby...but I really wanted to share his nursery pics and we love his name so much that at this point nothing could change our minds! He's our little Cam the Man and we can't wait to meet him.
As I talked about in an earlier blog post, I made these letters from a tutorial I found on the What's Up Moms YouTube channel! Super easy and SO much more affordable than the ones from Anthropologie. Plus they are super light-we literally hung them with tape!
I know...I totally need to iron the crib skirt.....And that's our City Mini GT Double stroller in the corner :)
Oh how I adore Aden & Anais swaddle blankets! A few of these I used with Laila :)

This toy chest was a gift from my parents :) They bought Laila a similar style bookshelf as well when we were expecting her.
A good diaper caddy is an absolute must in our house! We still use Laila's every single day, all day long! It's so nice to have everything in one place and organized.
I fell in love with this crib sheet from Pottery Barn Kids, and used it as a theme to decorate the rest of the nursery. Little Man onsie is from Target...I still can't believe we have a Little Man on the way!
Today I washed and organized all of Camden's clothes. He already has so many clothes! Mostly 3 month size because, as I learned with Laila, they grow out of newborn size so fast, if they even wear them at all!
We got so much done today, I am one tired mama! I have been so incredibly nervous and anxious about Camden's arrival and how it's going to change our lives. Everyone keeps telling me, "You're going to be SO BUSY" Well duh, people! That's what happens when you have babies 16 months apart! But you know what? As I spent the whole day nesting, I have never felt so incredibly blessed in my entire life. I have the most amazing, loving, incredible husband...a daughter who has my whole heart wrapped around her little finger, and another baby on the way...my little boy. Wow life is good, and I needed a day like today to stop and smell the roses. And they smell pretty damn good :)
